fallen Black Poplar Removal
Monday morning and we were told a limb had fallen off a Black Poplar. We arrived at site to find the whole tree had fallen onto onto a 3 story building. The building was badly damaged, with the roof totally caved in. We used the crane to safely remove all limbs and brush from the surrounding area, and then picked the timber up the next day. A very interesting job for sure.
ailanthus "tree of heaven" reduction
A 20% reduction was required on this Ailanthus (Tree Of Heaven) on a busy North London road. Ailanthus trees are very brittle, which ways makes for a tricky climb, especially when doing a light reduction on. Working on a busy road calls for a good ground team and plenty of signs for pedestrians (not that they ever pay any attention to the signs!)
300 year old Oak Pollard
This fantastic Oak was a was a real shame to have to pollard. The tree had developed a very aggressive unknown dieback. It was over a well known war memorial, and the local council had opted for a heavy pollard to encourage new growth, also to ensure no limbs fall on the the surrounding grave yard and memorial. It was an awesome tree to work on.
Dead XL london Plane removals
These 2 dead London Plane trees proved to to be a very tricky job. Both of the whole tree had died rapidly from Massaria. The trees were situated on a very busy road in Hackney. A system of intricate rigging was used to ensure rigging loads were well distributed, and no main anchors were compromised.
